All architects and architecture students in Leicestershire and Rutland are invited to attend and encouraged to participate.

|She Draws: She Builds
International Women’s Day celebration in Leicester
|The Leicestershire & Rutland Society of Architects organized a showing of She Draws: She Builds.
The short film of interviews with women talking about their lives in architecture aims to make architecture a more inclusive, diverse and connected profession.
|Mock Interviews with local practices||The annual event gives Year 3 students a chance to rehearse a job interview with potential employers and to receive advice on cvs and portfolios before the search for Year-Out positions begins.

One Day Design Competition
|60 students from the Leicester School of Architecture participated in the annual one-day cometition, which is open to competitors in all years.
This years brief asked for a flexible and portable exhibition furniture for the upcoming Love Architecture events in October 2018.
The winning entries will be developed further and one design will be built and installed at the LCB Depot.
Fire Safety in High Rise Buildings + Building Regulatory Review
|The seminar by Paul Meadows BSc, MRICS, FCABE, MIFireEDirector covered the fire safety requirements for high rise buildings.
His presentation also included the most recent and important changes to the Approved Documents of the Building Regulations.
|LRSA Pub Quiz

|18 teams from architects practices in Leicestershire, Rutland and Lincolnshire, the Schools of Architecture of Schools in Loghborough and Leicester, Leicester City Council's planning department and RICS competed on the night, conducted by quiz master Keith Cooper of Northlight Images.
The winning team of SC Architects / Feldmann Architects received an RIBA CPD Club Ticket for one year, worth over £400.00 (incl VAT), which was donated by the RIBA East Midlands Office
The event was free with a collection for LOROS on the night.
